“Celebration of the Family” is the theme for a golf tournament being held on Friday, January 25, 2008 at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Family Wellness Center. This event will “celebrate the family” first, by honoring the tremendous accomplishments of a sister and brother who are respected world-class golfers. Nicole Dalkas Castrale is ranked 28th among the female golfers in the world and has just completed her fourth year on the LPGA tour. Her older brother, Peter Dalkas, an award-winning golfer from southern California, has established himself as a leading golf pro, currently on staff at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club.
We will also “celebrate the family” at this event as all proceeds will benefit the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Family Wellness Center. This new and innovative ministry is seeking to provide for the emotional, spiritual and psychological wholeness of all our clergy and faithful. Your support of this event will be matched by a generous donation from the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Endowment Fund.
The golf package of $1,250 per player includes: cart and green fees, registration gift bag, barbeque lunch, cocktail reception, and dinner. Each golfer also receives a complimentary ticket for their spouse/guest to attend the luncheon and dinner. Hole Sponsorships are available for $500 each, as well as Beverage Cart and Cocktail Reception sponsors for $2,500 each. Nicole and Peter will spend time with each foursome, giving participants the unique opportunity to learn from “the pros” during the tournament.
