Metropolis of San Francisco Launches Online Book Study Club

The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco is pleased to announce the second year of the Spring Session of the new Online Book Study Club. Beginning March 1, 2011 and continuing until Pascha, the book study club will cover two books: The Way of the Pilgrim, and Scott Cairns' Compass of Affection: Poems New and Selected.

This is just like a regular book club where participants read the same book and meet to discuss it, only the discussion it takes place online in a members-only forum. There is also no set meeting time. Members may log on to read and participate in the discussion at any time, once a week or even several times weekly. Focus questions on the readings will be posted and discussions for this session will be moderated by Mr. Konstantine Salmas. MDiv., of Belmont, CA.

The Online Book Study Club is open to members of Greek Orthodox parishes within the Metropolis of San Francisco. There is no cost to participate.

To register, visit http://sanfran.goarch.org/bookclub.html.

After registering, participants will be sent an email with login name and password, and a link to the Forum address. For more information send an email to: bookclub@sanfran.goarch.org.
