2007 Fall Family Camp: “Giving Thanks from Generation to Generation”

St. Nicholas Ranch
November 9-11, 2007

The Metropolis of San Francisco Youth and Family Ministries Office will be having a Family Camp  November 9-11, 2007 at St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Dunlap, CA.  Families will have the opportunity for an interactive family scrapbook project, campfires, a Harvest carnival, a Monastery visit and more. Fr. Jim and Presvytera Donna Pappas of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Fresno, along with the rest of the Pappas family, will lead interactive workshops allowing participants to research the generations within their personal family.  Families should bring pictures (as far back in their family tree as possible), achievement/recognition certificates or articles, and anything else they would like to include in their scrapbook!  This will be a weekend not to be missed for families looking to get away from all the "hubbub" of life in order to strengthen their familial bonds through fellowship, prayer and fun!
