Also participating in this event is her brother, Peter Dalkas, whose career has extended from playing professional golf, to a career in golf course management, golf course acquisitions and instruction programs for corporate golf outings. The Dalkas family, including parents, Tony and Pat, are committed to the Family Wellness Ministry of the Metropolis and are proud to offer their support for this event.

The Metropolis is actively seeking golfers, sponsors and auction items for this event. Player packages are only $250 per person and include golf for the day, lunch on the course, and a cocktail reception and awards banquet with silent auction following the tournament. Golfers will have the added bonus of meeting Nicole Dalkas Castrale during the tournament and picking up tips from a true expert! Tee Sponsorships for $250 are also available for individuals or businesses wishing to support this most worthy endeavor. Other sponsorships available include: lunch ($1,500), beverage cart ($2,500) and cocktail reception ($2,500).

Just three miles from the Pacific Ocean, nestled in the rolling hills of historical San Clemente, Talega Golf Club is the perfect place to enjoy a round of golf. Co-designed by Masters champion Fred Couples and the renowned golf course design firm of Schmidt-Curley Design, Inc., Talega Golf will challenge golfers of all abilities.

The 18-hole championship course meanders through natural canyons, rugged marshes, and undulating terrain. Throughout the par-72 course, golfers play around natural vegetation lining the fairways and hillsides providing a scenic backdrop. The coastal breezes, along with the relaxed, small-town atmosphere and early mission influence of San Clemente, offer a golfing experience unlike any other in Southern California.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 29, 2010, with the cocktail reception starting at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Awards Banquet at 6:00 p.m. For more information on golf packages, sponsorships, or to donate an item for the auction, please contact Kristen Bruskas, Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco, at 415-814-1187 or 602.525.1617.
