The faithful of the Metropolis of San Francisco are invited to witness the conferral of an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters, honoris causa, on His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, California. This ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Chapel on the LMU Campus, and will be followed by a reception in the Sculpture Garden. “I look forward to seeing many of our faithful at this event honoring Archbishop Demetrios as a demonstration of our love and esteem for His Eminence,” stated Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco.
