It’s time to start thinking about summer plans for your kids, and there is no better place than Summer Camp at St. Nicholas Ranch in Dunlap, CA, sponsored by the Metropolis of San Francisco. There's no question that camps and retreats have continually proven to be a positive and life-transforming experience that strengthens the faith of all those who participate. All youth ages 8 (or entering the third grade in September 2008) to 17 years old (or Spring 2008 high school graduates) are invited and encouraged to enroll in camp today!
Each camp session is one week in duration (Sunday through Saturday). Session I is from July 6 -12; Session II is from July 13 – 19; and Session III is from July 20 – 26. Summer Camp is a week of fun, fellowship and faith-building. Campers will have the opportunity to meet other youth from throughout the Metropolis, while participating in the following camp activities: campfires, theater, music, hiking, pool time, Olympics, athletics, capture the flag, dodgeball, Orthodox Challenge sessions, stargazing and much more. Campers will also be offered a rich liturgical experience with daily Orthros and Vespers, and weekly Divine Liturgy.
Registration is available now, with a special discount being offered for those who register before April 11. Additional savings are available when you enroll more than one child from the same family. Sessions fill up quickly, so be sure and reserve your spot today!
If you are interested in attending camp, more information, including the Camp Registration form, is available on the Youth and Family Ministries webpage at: www.youth.sanfran.goarch.org.
