Counselors Needed for Metropolis of San Francisco Summer Camp 2008

COUNSELORS NEEDED FOR METROPOLIS OF SAN FRANCISCO
SUMMER CAMP 2008

 

Orientation Week: June 29-July 5;

Session I: July 6-12

Session II: July 13-19

Session III: July 20-26

 

Even though summer is a few months away, it will be here before you know it. If you're still making plans for the month of July, you are encouraged to consider being a counselor at the Metropolis of San Francisco Summer Camp at St. Nicholas Ranch in Dunlap, California. One of the most meaningful experiences one can have is as a camp counselor. There aren't many things that can compare to being a positive role model for young people and helping them to grow closer to the Church. Not only will you make a difference in the lives of our youth, but you'll also meet other young adults from throughout the Metropolis and beyond, with whom you'll form long lasting friendships. If you're 20 years old or over, love working with youth, and want to help kids grow closer to the Church, please apply to be a counselor at Summer Camp.

 

Orientation Week will begin on June 29. Each session begins on a Sunday, with Session One beginning on July 6, Session Two on July 13, and Session Three on July 20. Counselors are encouraged to be there for the entire time but it is not mandatory. Counselors will participate with campers in the following camp activities: campfires, theater, hiking, swimming, Olympics, athletics, capture the flag, dodgeball, Orthodox Challenge sessions, stargazing and much more.
