Metropolis Young Adult Christmas Dinner - Sacramento, CA

November 30, 2007

The Metropolis of San Francisco cordially invites all young adults for a night of celebration, fellowship, faith, and philanthropy.  A Christmas Dinner and Program will be held at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Sacramento, California on Saturday, December 15 and is open to all Orthodox Young Adults and their friends.  The evening will consist of meeting and mingling with other Orthodox young adults, dinner, a guest speaker, a Gift Swap, singing Christmas Carols, and some other surprises to celebrate the holiday season!

This event will also benefit the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program; all attendees are requested to bring an unwrapped toy which will be given to a child in need.  No holiday party is complete without a Gift Swap, so please also bring a gift for exchange (value not to exceed $5).

Dr. John Klentos, Associate Professor of Eastern Orthodox Christian Studies at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley will be the guest speaker at this event, presenting: "The Jesus Clause: Making Christ Real in our World".

The event is open to all Orthodox Christians and their friends, 18-30 years of age, with the festivities beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is located at 3022 F Street in Sacramento.  Semi-formal attire is suggested. Admission: $15 per person.

Please RSVP by December 7 to Andrew Burrows or (916) 443-2033.

A printable flyer is available for those who would like to help spread awareness of this event.
